BRAND STORY
In 2015, Ken and Lydia established the Greatea brand. They came up the idea to make a bubble tea drink that was different from what traditional Boba shops offered. Today, we use only the best ingredients in our drinks, and we make sure this by carefully examining, testing and selecting every ingredient that we use for our business. All primary ingredients we use come from Taiwan and USA.

This super cute store is a little hard to find but it’s the corner of the building and should not be missed. They have authentic boba tea. They don’t have all the flavors other places have because they don’t use powder but fresh ingredients , including real taro! Delicious drinks in a soothing atmosphere!!

Best taro milk tea in Atlanta. Their Taro Milk tea includes smooth and soft chunk real taro in black milk tea. I come here every week to get tea for my sister and myself. I usually custom 0% sugar, but the drink is still at the appropriate sweet level since their boba and taro cooked with sugar. I wish I can give them 5 stars, but I give them 4 stars – When I custom “no ice” or “no boba” for my drink, they don’t fill up the drink which the other tea places always fill it up for you eventhough you custom no ice and no boba.

We tried their all natural taro bubble tea (made with real taro) and it has raised the bar on bubble tea so significantly that it’s hard to go elsewhere to get my bobba fix.

I’ve been through and passed the peak of my bubble tea obsession, but this place rekindled it — and now I’m always craving Greatea. I love love the taro tea here because it’s REAL TARO— NOT powder. I get it with less sugar, and replace the boba with something else like grass jelly or lychee jelly. I’m not a fan of boba, but the ones here are actually really soft and chewy, and I surprisingly liked them. I wish they would include more taro though — I heard they used to include more 🙁 Staff is friendly and patient, and I love all the natural lighting in the shop!

I love this place! It is a little far from where I live, but definitely worth the drive. Cozy place with modern look, drinks are definitely reasonable. I got the taro bubble tea because they use real taro! It was delicious btw. Greatea was ok, kinda too rich for me. Superfruit tea is good, but I feel like I can do that myself. Overall, it’s my new favorite spot if they can keep the price and quality the same. Definitely gonna come back 🙂

This small shop is located in Johns Creek and I am so glad I decided to give it a try as I would drive by it every day on my way home from work.
This place does get pretty busy and it has limited seating.
I always get the original Greatea – a black milk tea that is made with fresh milk and their signature special cream. This drink is extra creamy and rich – I always find it to be a special treat when I get it! I have never found any issue with my drinks and they have always come out perfectly for me. I have also tried their taro milk tea which comes with fresh taro – delicious!
I would highly recommend you to give this place a try if you’re in the area.
